daily chanting just brings out so much aliveness for me...Gives me the strength to surrender.. I am forever grateful for Bhakti Center to have planted those seeds in me...and for Dhyana, the Goddess, who chanted beautifully during our teacher training in Alachua.
I did yesterday! Sat at the beach, chanted japa and just took it all in. It was so peaceful getting away from the city, even for just a few hours. 🌿🌿🌿
I feel most alive when I am surrounded by nature, a walk in the forest, sitting on the beach listening to the waves, hiking up a small mountain, seeing the flowers and trees come alive in spring.
I feel alive when I laugh with my loved ones, take walks with my best friend, Bilbo, and practice Qigong and Yoga ❤️☮️🕉☯️
Love.
Amazing sex!, cooking for my family, spending time with my mom, unbridled creativity, waterfalls, long hikes in nature, visiting sacred sites and mystical ruins, chanting and prayer, laughing and daily poo's.
Waking up and going for an hour walk with the dogs, along the waterside. Especially now, with all the trees in bloom and the grass getting greener, for a Pitta it is incredibly soothing to take that all in. Then, preparing my oatmeal with nuts and seeds before beginning the day.
I am slowly bringing back yoga and meditation into my morning routine but I might also use it for downtime at night as it helps me prepare for bedtime.
Being outside, connecting with the Earth and her seasons and offerings definitely encourages a sense of "aliveness". Also through verbal or non verbal communication of deep love and appreciation. THAT makes aliveness really rise!
I love my morning routine. Then my day just "happens" the only thing I must include in my day, weather permitting, is my hour long swim every day.
